New Orleans Drain Linocut

I've done a few of these prints as an ongoing project from places that I've had the good fortune to visit.

Once you start looking for these in cities its gets a bit addictive and I've definitely had a few strange looks from people when taking pictures of the street!

This one is from New Orleans otherwise known as Crescent City because of how it curls around the Mississippi river. These are so pretty that the city have a lot of trouble with people stealing them out of the ground and a lot ofthem have been replaced by boring old plain ones.
