Unique bracelet made of eight small dots of blue and white pottery shards that were found on the banks of the Thames in London.
Two years of 'mudlarking' on the Thames gave me enough piecesof quatrefoil pattern for this bracelet. Quatrefoils, amongst other things, are a symbol of good luck!
One of a kind - each piece of pottery was cleaned, shaped and set into specially made sterling silver frames.
There will only ever be one bracelet like this, and you or your loved one will be wearing a little piece of history!
The pottery shards in this bracelet were found while 'mudlarking' on the banks of the Thames in London. Each piece of pottery is unique, with a story to tell.
Many of the pieces have been rolling around the river bed for at least 100-200 years. Some are even older. I will give the approximate date where possible.
I select the shards carefully, but please note that because of their age, some of the pieces have surface imperfections. I believe this is part of their charm!
All the metalwork is fine (pure) and sterling silver, and has been hallmarked in the London Assay Office.
The bracelet measures 19 cm (7 1/2 inches) and closes with a toggle clasp.
This is a standard size. If you require a different size I will adjust if for you.
