EDITORS’ NOTES: Someone of greater experience than we, they once told us we're a bottler. Often. For a spell. We remembered that in a flash of a moment quite recently. Well, all we know is, we still stand here. Whether or not we're a bottle, this is our message. Never a talented poet, we can’t show it in the form of the ode you deserve, so on this road, we swerved. KIND LIFE.
If we could attribute the development of our quietest strength, it would be to the bully. To beat them fully, all we must do is stay true to us. To us. That’s not a wuss. ‘Don’t Take My Kindness for Weakness’ is a song we discovered by accident, not too long ago, by Soul Children, it felt relevant.
You will likely already know most information we could share, but for the sake of us rambling some more, with respect, we’ll continue, in 2017 Angie Thomas released a novel titled: ‘The Hate U Give’. We was completely earth-shatteringly moved by it and likewise the film adaption, directed by George Tillman Jr. Also, we have since realised the power of the work by Tupac Shakur. Terribly late in learning though we are, we owe such a debt of new knowledge to these people.
From now on, you can wear our note if you like, but either way, feel free to carry it with you.
