Amethyst meaning

Amethyst is associated with protection, healing, and calm. It is a soothing stone which is thought to help calm an overactive mind and encourage peace and balance. It is also associated with clarity and focus, and restful sleep. It is the birthstone for February.

Dimensions

Smooth tumbled gemstone charms: 6mm - 8mm

Rough tumbled gemstone charms: 5mm - 7mm

Hoop earrings: band width 1.5mm, outside diameter 11.5mm, inner diameter 9mm

Made from

The earring charms comprise natural gemstones from India selected for their colour and quality. The gemstones are carefully cut into shape and electroplated with a thick layer (1 micron) of 18 carat gold and finished with e-coating to impede tarnishing. A thin copper layer is used to bond the gold to the gemstone surface.

The hoop earrings comprise 18 carat gold plating (1 micron) on 925 sterling silver (recycled gold and silver).
