A personalised music print to celebrate a favourite album, we use one form of art (music) to create another (abstract geometric art). It's a unique gift for music fans and it's fascinating to see what mum or dad's favourite album looks like when it's pictured this way.
How does it work? In the same way that every song has a signature sound wave pattern, so every album has a signature pattern of songs. Each horizontal bar in the artwork represents one song on an album. The length of the bar represents the length of the song - shorter songs have shorter lines.Songs are shown from top to bottom (first song at the top). Check out the image gallery to see some colourful examples.
All you have to do is tell us the name of the album and the artist, choose a colour scheme and add an optional personalised message. We can print a track listing below the artwork if you want.
When we create your artwork we use the original UK release of the album - some albums have numerous re-releases, sometimes with extra tracks, but we'll make sure your artwork is based on the 'classic' original UK album release.
The gallery images illustrate how your print might look when framed. Framing is not included in the price but is available to buy via the 'Size' drop down menu.
VARIATIONS AND PERSONALISATION
- the artist name, album title and year of original release can be printed at the bottom of the print, and so can the album track titles - or you can opt to not print any of these for the 'pure' artwork
- a personal message can be added to the bottom of the print
- colour schemes - indigo/pink, black/grey, red/gold, black/aqua, dark blue/light blue, teal/green, blue/pink
