Linen Flamingoes Embroidered Bench

Furniture is a newish departure for Bombay Duck - in line with our ethos, it has to be better than the rest, it has to be supremely useful, and it has to add that extra something to your home in the way of colour, pattern and detail. I'm happy that this bench achieves all that. It's a cool modern update on that Victorian classic of the tapestry-upholstered bench. Ours is almost completely covered with embroidery, hand stitched in chain stitch on a hand-held machine in the traditional way. It's petite enough to fit in anywhere, but solid enough to stay stable, with mid-century style, hand-turned, tapered legs of sustainable mango wood.
