A one-off chunky ring made in sterling silver with scratched texture and coloured sapphire set with the cast-in-place technique.
This unique ring has been made with the lost-wax-casting technique, carving its shape out of jewellery grade wax and then cast in recycled silver in a small casting house in London. The sapphire have been placed in the wax and cast at the same time with the molten metal, literally becoming one thing. This technique called cast-in-place assured an organic look to the piece: some stone show off in the final piece, other sink inside the thickness of the ring, as an unreachable treasure.
