This is a very Danish way of 'forcing' Hyacinths, we fondly remember the scent and seeing them in window sills during the first months of the year. (In Denmark you also cover them with a pointed paper hat until they are ready to pop).
We have created a boxed gift set of glass vase and Hyacinth bulb, all prepared with 'bare roots' all ready to send to a loved one to bring a some joy and colour for the weeks ahead.
Perfect for a Mother's Day gift, birthday or just because treat It come boxed with instructions on how to care for this hyacinth. (The Hyacinths are supplied in assorted colour, we can't unfortunately guarantee the colour but see it as a lovely little surprise).
Please note that it will flower much faster inside a warm room or sunny window sill than if kept in a conservatory for instance. The bulbs can be planted out outside once they have flowered.
