A handmade, hand-painted porcelain Dala horse decoration.
The Dala horse is a traditional Swedish emblem and whilst most customers use my horses on their Christmas tree, others tell me they keep theirs on display all year round.
Great as a secret santa gift or heirloom xmas decoration to be used for many years and create memories for the recipient.
Comes supplied in a gift box. Colour of gift box may differ to photo.
Whilst this item has a lead time, I am creating new work each day and will send out as quickly as possible after your order is lovingly painted and fired.

Made from
Made from parian clay, a type of porcelain and painted with ceramic underglazes. After painting each horse is fired twice in the kiln up to 1220 deg C to create a soft self-glazing translucency to the work.
Each horse is made by hand cutting the clay and individually hand painted. Whilst I repeat the same design on the horses, the hand painted nature means each one you receive will be a unique one-off decoration.
