Note from maker: My ceramics are made in small batches in my studio and are not mass produced. As they are handmade like this, each one is unique, has its own charm and not a single one is the same so they could appear to have small differences from the image shown. However, I try to match the size, colour, pattern and shape to my best ability.
From the method I make and fire my ceramics I am unable to glaze the bottom (this is because it would fuse itself to the kiln shelf in the firing) but I sand it afterwards to make it smooth.

This platter has been handmade and slab-built out of white stoneware clay. Whilst the clay is still wet, it is then hand painted using my own original designs and then embellished with gold lustre after it has been glazed. Gold lustre is made from real gold (!!) which is what gives it its brilliant shine. Please handwash instead of putting in the dishwasher to care for your item.All ceramics are handmade in my studio in Bristol.
