This is an absolute must - a great fun, family Christmas tradition!
Such a simple game to count down the days to Christmas with young children. Your Christmas watch bird comes out on the 1st of December and, with the help on a grown up, he will (secretly) move from perch to perch around the house for the children to find each morning. Tip - put him (or her, of course) nice and high so he's not touched, or the magic will disappear! He is sent from Santa and watches for good behaviour. He has been known to turn his back if he doesn't like what he sees or even return to the North Pole (temporarily) to let the big man know what's been going on! Take it from us - they really do work and children (and adults) will delight in this lovely festive game!! Don't forget to give your bird a name and he will always be a member of your family.
Children love searching for him and in our house the watch bird is almost as exciting as santa himself!! Leave a few nuts for his on Christmas Eve and he returns back to the North Pole with Santa when he visits your house.
