This kit is made from premium Italian vegetable tanned cow leather which is a by product of the European meat industry. It's not recommended to get your piece wet but if you do, air dry naturally. A little light rain is fine! The paint is specially designed to adhere to leather won't chip, run or change colour. All the metal hardware is solid brass. Beautiful plastic free packaging.
