Rain Cloud Earrings

Quirky yet elegant storm cloud earrings with delicate hanging "rain"

I create the stormy little clouds using decoupage; gluing, sealing, and finally varnishing the illustrations onto their wooden shapes. The varnish I use leaves a beautiful crackle-glazed finish, giving the earrings an aged appearance. The rain that hangs from these clouds is made from ultra fine brass chain, plated in a gun-metal colour.
