The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company began in 2010 when Jonathan Williams decided quit working at a land locked office in Swindon in favour of making a living from the beaches of Pembrokeshire full time. After doing some local markets the tiny business was was sudenly thrust into the British Street Food Awards. Jonathan’s kitchen beach shack won multiple golds including ‘Best of the Best 2011’.
Speciality products materialised as a natural extension of the recipes sold on the beach shack. Soon dried seaweeds, seasonings and savoury biscuits made with sea foraged ingredients were available to buy and use at home.
Every product tells a story, whether it’s a nod to the tradition of picking laver in the rural county where the company originates or conjuring up tales of endless adventure on the high sea!
At Freshwater West beach in the summer, The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company continues to sell locally caught crab and lobster to happy surfers and tourists and continue to win awards on the national street food scene.
Products made by The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company make the ideal gifts for beach bums, those who dream big, love feeling inspired, love to entertain, get outdoors and live for adventure!
