Description

This is one of my bestsellers. The Kingfisher is just a gorgeous, cute and colourful bird but doesn't take any prisoners when diving for fish.

Handmade from copper and vitreous enamel and fired at 800 degrees.

This piece was fired three times using sapphire, duck-egg blue and black powdered enamels as well as liquid orange and white enamel. The fish is a bright transparent peridot green.

The chain is also copper, and treated so that it doesn't leave a mark, and it is adjustable in length as the catch goes into any part of the chain. It is about 45cms (18") at its longest but can be longer if necessary. Just send me an email. The bead on the back is vintage glass and is 10mm in diameter.

Each enamelled piece is unique: they are all made by hand so even though I repeat my designs, each one will look ever so slightly different from the next because of the enamelling process. Their uniqueness is one of their selling points. Each piece in my enamel range has been fired in a kiln between two and four times.

Every piece comes gift-packaged and there are plenty of designs to choose from whether you are buying for yourself or for someone else, whether you are an animal-lover or a lover of colour - wanting an eye-catching piece that is a conversation-starter is essential!

It should be kept in its box when not being worn as enamel is glass fused to metal so if it is bent or dropped on a hard surface it may chip.
