The pattern, yarn and needles to make this unusual lace cowl is sent with care instructions and alpaca story packed in a tin.
Using our comprehensive instructions and fabulous 100% pure, British alpaca yarn, Fantasia is a really interesting project to make. Knitted on circular needles, there isn't a seam, so little finishing is needed at the end of the project. Fantasia is great to give as a gift or keep as a wonderful alternative to a scarf.
Stitch patterns: knit, purl, yarn over and a dropped stitch to form the ladder

Knitted on 5 mm circular needles which are included in the kit

There are 7 natural colours to choose from and 6 dyed shades; all are made with 100% pure British Alpaca fibre with silk coming from ethical and sustainable farmers.

Packed together in a clear plastic, resealable bag (useful for final garment storage) and posted in a blue mail bag (30cm x 15cm); the final posting weight is 150g.

Purl Alpaca Designs' are exclusive to us and they are named after baby alpacas born to our herd.
Our 100% pure alpaca yarn is not dyed, all the colours are completely natural and the fibre is sourced from our herd then spun in England
Once made, we recommend hand-washing as the best way to ensure Fantasia keeps shape and lasts for years. We do however provide Care Instructions which gives extra tips on how to look after your Purl Alpaca Design.
