This lovely board is made from hevea wood.
Hevea wood, commonly known as rubber wood comes from the Para rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis). It is light in colour and a medium-density tropical hardwood.
Rubber wood is often considered to be 'environmentally friendly' as it comes from trees grown in rubber plantations and therefore makes use of wood from trees that have already been used in rubber.

No.No wooden products should be subjected to the harsh environment found in a dishwasher, with its caustic solution and intense heat.
“How do I clean my board?”You should only rinse your board, and you can use a little washing up liquid.Never leave a board to soak in the sink.

We do not use a third party or outsource this. We engrave it all ourselves with our top of the range, professional laser engraver.
