Use as a lampshade over any pendant light fitting or as a lantern with a set of battery operated LED fairy lights inside.

Our stars also look fantastic unlit as 3D decorations.

Light not included

They have been tested to use with a maximum wattage bulb of 40 watts.

However - LED lamps between 2 and 5 watts are the best – the higher the wattage and lumens ( e.g. 5 watts ), the brighter it will be. For a more ambient glow, use a set of LED fairy lights or a lower wattage lamp ( e.g. 2 watts )

Our fairly traded white starlight lantern will create a party atmosphere anywhere with its brilliant white base, contrasting black screen-printed detail and delicate rainbow-coloured inserts. Clear light and clean lines combine to create a statement piece visible from a distance - perfect if you’re looking for a decorative lampshade that will illuminate a whole room.

Ideal for: main lampshade, task light, venue décor, shop window, parties, celebrations, and Christmas. For a classic Scandinavian look, display in a window or over a table at Christmas. Produces a clear bright light.

Dimensions

Measures 60cm from tip to tip when opened and weighs approx 85g. Comes flatpacked complete with cord for tying. Light fittings and bulbs are not included.

Handmade using natural pigments and 200 gsm responsibly sourced paper.

Your Starlight will be delivered to you flatpacked with full instructions – simply fold open and tie over a lightbulb or LED.

Recommended for use with LED bulbs up to 7 watts, or low energy lightbulbs up to 16 watts - bulbs and fittings are not included with your star.

Will look fantastic with battery-operated LED “fairy“ or “string” lights, as the light will twinkle through the perforations in the star.

Make sure your chosen light source conforms to the appropriate standards and that the bulb doesn’t touch any part of the star. The actual bulb wattage shouldn’t exceed 40 watts. Can be used indoors and in sheltered outdoor spaces and cleaned using a dry cloth.

Your Starlight can be used all year round. However, should you wish to take it down after your special occasion, it can be folded flat and stored ready for the next time.
