Square Fringed Natural Jute Cushion Cover

Named after one of the artisans who crafted this collection on a traditional Indian handloom, the Salma square cushion cover makes a statement with its heavy plaited texture and fringing.

It looks great scattered on the floor or mixed & matched with my range of jute and pompom cushion covers.

Skilfully created by female artisans using age-old techniques under fair trade conditions, this collection targeted Sustainable Development Goal no. 5 (Achieve Gender Equality & Empower All Women) by specifically partnering with women artisans on this project.

The recycled plastic yarn has a soft, wool-like hand-feel, is hardy and practical, and proves that we can save plastic bottles from landfill one beautiful cushion at a time. We also replaced the most commonly used cotton canvas backing (a non-sustainable option unless organic) with the same recycled content.
