This cosy ladies knitted bobble hat is designed and knitted from pure 100% lambswool in my Manchester studio.
I designed and created the ladies knitted lambswool bobble hat using my bold big waves jacquard pattern. The design was created on knitting punchcard paper which I hand punched. The double jersey fabric is knitted on one of my 1980s domestic knitting machines, hand manipulating the stitches to create the ribbed trim and the shaping. The fabric is then hand stitched together to form the hat shape, then washed and laid out to dry naturally.
Double jersey fabric is thick therefore very warm, and the hat is created with a patterned outside and a plain inside. The premium quality lambswool yarn is luxuriously soft and warm. A turn back ribbed brim gives extra warmth around the forehead and ears to keep you toasty! The hat is finished with a matching light fluffy supersized acrylic bobble.
Each hat is carefully wrapped in tissue paper and tied with bakers twine and a Little Knitted Stars gift tag, making it an ideal gift. This is ideal for the fashion conscious female who wants to stay super snug in the Autumn and Winter months!
