I’m Lauren, an artist specialising in bright, and characterful paintings of cows.

I am always asked why I enjoy painting cows so much and I say what’s not to like? They are such humble animals with wonderfully big personalities and beautifully expressive faces which makes them the perfect subject, resulting in bright fun-filled paintings that never fail to put smiles on faces.

I have been happily running Lauren’s Cows for just over five years with my very organised Mum, Jude. I do the messy bits, the lying in muddy fields with my camera, the throwing paint around, and the making of tea, and she keeps everything in order and running smoothly.

All of our products are handmade in the UK and of the highest quality, from the original acrylic paintings created in my York studio, to our hand-decorated fine bone china mugs made in Stoke on Trent. Everything is made with love and sealed with the Lauren’s Cows stamp of approval!
