This sterling silver necklace is handmade using reticulation, fusing and Keum-boo techniques. The surface of the silver pendant is melted to create a wrinkled effect and silver loops are fused on whilst the silver is still hot. 24ct gold foil is then added to the inside of the outer loops using heat and pressure, this is an ancient Korean technique called Keum-boo.
The uneven surface texture and the additional vibrant gold make this eye-catching and unique and is perfect for those looking for a stunning piece of jewellery. The pendant hangs on a long silver barleycorn chain, and really is a striking piece of jewellery.
Measurements are approximately: Chain length 86cm/34". Pendant diameter 3.8cm.
Please note: Items may differ slightly from the images as each piece is individually made and the techniques used create different results each time. This ensures you have a unique piece of jewellery, but rest assured the overall design remains consistent.
This necklace will be placed in a black box, perfect for a gift or a treat for yourself!
