Commission a stunning typographical papercut artwork to welcome a new baby or celebrate a Christening or Naming Day
A perfect and unique new baby or Christening gift bound to be treasured for years to come.
Frames can be hung using the saw tooth hanger on the back. They are also chunky enough to be freestanding allowing the background wallpaper/paint colour to show through, thus matching your decor.
Unframed papercuts are supplied flat on cardboard, wrapped in a cello sleeve.
Your papercut is either hand cut with love by Kyleigh or precision machine cut from one sheet of paper available in red, orange, yellow, white, bright green, lime green, aqua, flecked cream, bright blue, pale blue, bright pink, pale pink, purple, pale purple, black or light grey. It is then hand finished, signed, dated and numbered.
You can also choose the embellishments - hearts and swirls are very popular, as are bunting and butterflies. But don't let that stop you - we have been known to do jam jars, campervans, windmills and skulls - just ask!
If choosing a frame, the papercut is sandwiched between two sheets of glass and surrounded by a choice of black, white, or reclaimed wood. The frames are specifically handcrafted for Kyleigh's Papercuts in Dorset by our master framers.
If you opt for no frame you will get just the piece of paper with your design cut out which you can mount/frame yourself. As you can imagine it is very delicate and so is supplied on board inside a cello bag. I include instructions for removing the papercut from the board and framing in floating frames which you can sometimes find in high street shops.
Designed, machine or handcut from a single sheet of paper, hand finished, signed, dated and numbered (1 of 1) to ensure you have an entirely unique gift. Handcut papercuts are signed 'Handcut by Kyleigh'.
Please note: As the name suggests, our reclaimed wood frames are made from repurposed old wood and as such the end result can vary in colour with some darker or lighter than shown in the pictures. Also please be aware of slight imperfections and knots in the wood which add to the character and hints at the history of the wood (which might have come from an old barn, warehouse or factory).
Unframed: cut from a single sheet of A4 (21 x 29.7cm)
Framed: 27cm x 33cm
