Illustration of an Isetta, the Italian designed micro car that saved BMW.
I really love classic cars, especially slightly quirky looking ones and the Isetta is definately no exception. With its motorcycle engine and single door at the front it broke boundaries when it was launched in 1953.
This illustration is sketched by hand, then scanned and coloured digitally, with the background elements added on screen. The picture would look great in any room but my be well suited to a boy's bedroom or make a great gift for a teenage lover of cars.
