Heart Studs from our Paradise Collection in a choice of bright colours on sterling silver posts
From our new Paradise Collection where swirling curves of Art Nouveau graphics combine with the iridescent plumage of birds of paradise in a shimmering fusion of urban and tropical influences.
Designed and made in our workshop in Wales. Showcasing beautiful workmanship the hearts are cut, domed and finished by hand. These studs would make a thoughtful keepsake gift for the person who loves bright colour. As a gift for a teacher, friend or treat to yourself each piece tells a story.
A perfect summer present, ideal for holidays and for the person who loves handmade, upcycled, colourful jewellery.
We use colouful printed biscuit tins, tea caddies, sweet and toffee tins in our designs. Friends and family give us lots of them, especially after Christmas, UK manufacturers donate their damaged tins to us and we buy more from antique shops and auction sites.
We also use scrap aluminium to upcycle into beautiful jewellery as an environmentally friendly alternative to silver.
When you place your order from us the jobsheet is taken through to the workshop and given to one of our 4 jewellery makers who will use a punch and die to carefully cut the heart from the tin. The piece is carefully sanded with a fine textured emery block and a small drill is used to make the hole for the ear post. After this process the piece is assembled by another maker who adds the sterling silver post and butterfly. Finally it is carefully checked, wrapped and posted.
We recycle our plastic, card, glass & paper. We also recycle all our off-cuts of tin and aluminium. We use local companies for our printing, packaging materials, tools, stationery and consumables which saves road miles! Our card gift boxes are supplied by eco-craft, a British company specializing in recycling materials. We source as many of our components as possible in the UK, saving air miles! Our silver jewellery findings are from British companies.
Please take care of your jewellery by polishing silver with a silver cloth and keeping tin pendants away from water. Designs may vary slightly from the photograph as each piece is unique and cut from tin.
