A Bee Pot Hotel and Seedbom gift set including a concrete Bee Pot Mini and 2 x Pollinator Beebom Seedboms.
GIVE SOLITARY BEES A CHANCE!
A Beepot Hotel and Seedbom gift set includes:
- 1 x Bee Pot & 2 x Pollinator Beeboms
The Beepot is a stunning concrete planter and bee house, all in one.
90% of our bee species in the UK are solitary bees, bees who don’t produce honey, don’t have a queen and don’t live in hives, but who are really important pollinators.By putting the Beepot mini in your garden, allotment or urban space you are helping the solitary bees by providing a bee house nesting place for them so they can continue with the vital pollination work they do.
Solitary bees are fascinating to watch and safe to encourage around children and pets as they are non-aggressive, they have no honey or queen to protect meaning they have nothing to defend.
The Beepot bee house makes a lovely gift for any lover of nature who also loves their garden and loves simple, stylish design. It looks great, whilst doing good for the bees too, win and win!
Cast in concrete, using up to 70% waste material from the Cornish China clay industry.
THE SEEDBOMS:
A positively buzzing mix of wildflower seeds that will grow into bright and beautiful nectar rich flowers loved by bumblebees and honey bees.
The Pollinator Beebom Seedboms couldn’t be easier to use. The starch-based compostable shell is filled with organic compost and seeds. All you need to do is find an area of unloved space – then shake it, soak it, throw it and grow it.
With a combination of wildflower seeds chosen from the RHS ‘perfect for pollinators’ list, your garden will be abuzz with pollinating bees in no time! You don’t need any experience to grow these stunning flowers, so the Pollinator Beebom Seedbom makes the perfect gift for gardeners as well as beginners.
Seed mix – Cornflower, Vipers Bugloss, Wild Marjoram, Red Clover, Borage & Phacelia.
We’re supporting REWILDING BRITAIN. 10% of the sales profits from this product are donated to rewilding projects throughout Britain.
If you don’t have a lot of space, you can even grow these wildflowers in pots. We recommend you choose one that’s at least 30 cm wide to give them enough space to thrive.
For best results, plant your Seedbom between March and June. If you want to get a head start on next year, plant them between August and October and wait to watch them bloom the following summer.
Spread: We recommend allowing approx 15cm all around the Seedbom for spreading.
Shelf life: For best results we recommend Seedboms are grown within 1 year of purchase.
Storage: Keep cool & dry
