A beautiful vintage armchair, dating from the 1950's and covered in high qulaity, durable fabric.
This is a rare and beautiful example of an early 1950's wooden spoke frame chair. It's frame and arms are made of solid teak and have beautiful patina from years of use. It is an extremely comfortable chair with a firm seat and back cushion. The chair has a classic midcentury look which is off set beautifully by the very high quality and durable fabric. The chair is a well made and solid piece that is in very good condition.
The chair has been covered on the inside in a Designers Guild 100% linen grey colour, which has been dyed using vegetable colourings, giving it a lovely muted look. The side panels and reverse are in a beautiful silk check weave, also from Designers Guild in shades of blue.
