The process used to create the drawings is a combination between the traditional drawing device of a camera lucida, used in classical paintings and image making, and contemporary digital technology to make a visually contemporary narrative.
The camera lucida as a drawing device leaves a particular mark to the line quality of the drawings. The uneasy and awkward aesthetic of the line quality sums up an inner feeling of unease and anxiousness of how I feel around certain animals.
The work is a hand-drawn approach to illustrated narrative, using a camera lucida as a drawing tool.
