The beepot is a stylish bee hotel and bee friendly, modern concrete planter all in one. It looks great in the garden, balcony or even on a doorstep whilst creating vital habitat for the bees and providing space for bee friendly planting.
Solitary bees are brilliant pollinators that you want to encourage into your garden. They don't produce honey or have a queen which means they have nothing to protect and so won't sting you. So beepot is great to have in your garden and fascinating for children and adults alike to sit and watch. A lovely gift for garden and bee lovers.
Variations
The beepot bee hotel is currently available in white concrete or charcoal, made using locally sourced pigments.

Cast concrete, incorporating Cornish granite aggregate and lime pigments. Each beepot bee hotel is air cured and dried naturally.
Green&Blue bee hotels are made from concrete meaning you don't need to bring them in over the winter like you do with wooden and bamboo hotels. They are hardy and will withstand all seasons. If you wish you can clean the cavities once a year when you are certain that there are no nesting bees however we have found that generally bees are happy to clean the cavities themselves and re-use them each year. Full instructions on where to put your bee hotel and how to care for it are included within the packaging and literature, alongside some ideas for bee friendly planting.
Because the beepot concrete bee hotel is inspired by the natural way in which solitary bees nest you don't need to do anything to help them find it, it is the kind of space they will be looking for. The more bee friendly planting you have in an area the more solitary bees you are likely to have.
