A decorative house plant praised for its leathery green leaves with bright yellow edges.

Variegated baby rubber plant (peperomia obtusifolia) is tolerant of low light levels and is a great way to decorate any room in a house or an office. Over time the plant will develop multiple branches up to 30cm 1 foot tall.

Baby rubber plant is a safe choice of an indoors plant for a house with pets because it is non-toxic to both cats and dogs (source: ASPCA).

Baby rubber plant is low maintenance and easy to care for. It copes better than other house plants with a missed watering or two because it stores some water in its semi-succulent leaves. Watering when soil almost dried out is perfect, usually once a week in summer and once every two weeks in winter.

Variations

We offer plants with ceramic or concrete pots. You can also buy a plant without a pot.

Dimensions

The decorative pots upper diameter is 6cm and it has no drainage hole. The plant will arrive in 6cm plastic nursery pot that fits the ceramic pot perfectly.
