Charlie Day is selling hand numbered and signed limited edition giclee prints of his original paintings.
Charlie has a first class Fine Art BA from Central St Martin’s in London and has exhibited in many group shows including the famous Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy and Burning Bright for the Saatchi Gallery at the Hyatt Hotel in London.
As well as making abstract paintings reminiscent of the St Ives group of painters, he also makes 'bad paintings' of things. These "aggressively slack" (Martin Herbert, Time Out) still lifes are nostalgic reminiscences of his and his family's past.
Day’s work is in public collections, including the University of the Arts and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and in private collections in Portugal, Spain, Italy, USA and UK.
He is represented by Galeria Miquel Alzueta in Barcelona.
Each unframed print comes rolled in acid free tissue paper, in a sturdy cardboard tube, and will fit in a standard size frame (40cm x 30cm) available in many high street shops.
