Batik is the ancient Indonesian craft of painting and dying cotton cloth, using hand stamped wax motifs.
Batik is part of Indonesia’s heritage and recognised by UNESCO. Balinese craftsmen have combined traditional wax and dye techniques with tie-dye to create natural motifs in Bali, like leaves and flowers, and more contemporary motifs like hearts.
The motif on our batik is the pink guava blossom. Our pink guava season takes place each March to May, when our kitchen is overwhelmed by the heady scent of ripe pink guavas by West Java, that we make into delicious jam.
After consuming our preserves, enjoy the batik wrapping as an elegant table napkin or as a handkerchief.

You will be startled at the sheer tang, sharpness and vitality of fresh, tropical lime. We have added finely hand cut lime zest to create a traditional marmalade bursting with life. Great on crunchy toast or straight from the jar!

The Balinese tangerine (called “sumaga”) has a shiny green and orange rind and a distinct soft tangerine citrus flavour. In this marmalade, you will discover sensational, subtle, bittersweet flavours. Eat on toasted brioche or make a fragrant salad dressing.

The tangy, vibrant acidity of the lime blends with the heat and fragrance of young ginger to create the unconventional tangy spiciness of this marmalade. Bake with apples, or pair with a mild hard cheese.

Refrigerate after opening and consume within 3 months - all flavours
100% cotton. Handwash colours seperately or use a gentle or delicate wash cycle. For the new batik, wash in one or two cold rinses to remove the excess dye from the fabric.
