Awani works with freshest, ripest tropical fruit on the idllyic island of Bali to create delicious jams and marmalades.
Our home is in the volcanic highlands of Bali, close to mist covered lakes and spiritual temples.
Awani’s award winning tropical fruit preserves are all handcrafted, from fruit preparation, to cooking, bottling and labelling. Our packaging designs are inspired by the wonderful aesthetic of Balinese artistry and culture.
The provenance of our fruit is very important and we source from both family small-holdings and fruit farms in Bali, Java and other Indonesian islands.
In April, wooden crates packed with pink guavas arrive at our kitchen from West Java. The scent in the air is tantalising.
Sweet, juicy pineapples come to us from the mountain slopes of Lombok, our neighbouring island.
Our tamarillos are from the cool, northern highlands of Bali where the trees provide shade to colourful hydrangeas.
