The colony of penguins is repeated using freehand machine embroidery around the shade and makes the perfect gift for those wanting to add a touch of originality to their home. Variations
Designs can be made to match your requirements though choosing the applique Liberty Print fabric of your choice at the ordering stage. Each design is available in a variety of sizes and can either be made as a table or a ceiling shade.
Choose between a soft felt and a cotton fabric background, both of these are a natural cream colour.

Each Lampshade is freehand machine embroidered and finished with my unique signature on the back before being hand rolled.
The lampshade rings are epoxy coated which prevents rust and they include a converter ring for European fittings. I use a wool mix craft felt which is 40% wool and 60% acrylic or a 100% Cotton fabric. The stitched designs are then finished with a PVC backing which has been tested and passes the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association.
The shades should be cleaned by dusting using a soft brush or a low vacuum setting ad not using any moisture based methods.
