    A wonderfully striking tabletop globe, using facsimile map artwork first published by the famous French globemaker Louis Charles Desnos in 1757.

    A really special gift for yourself or someone else. A decorative accessory to enhance a living room, study, drawing room, hallway or bedroom.

    The handcrafted stand is made up of a pedestal housing a meridian and horizon ring. The globe itself has been subtlely handtinted in a muted palette, whilst the painted wooden stand is lightly distressed and edged with a deep contrasting red.

    A truly beautiful piece reflecting elegance and authenticity.

    Globe is plaster, stand and housing structure is wood, printed paper, hand tinted using watercolours, sealant and varnish. Globe can be dusted but not made wet.

    Our globes are not toys and should be treated with respect. Handled with care they will last for generations and become family heirlooms of the future.
