This thatched cottages modern embroidery kit uses an original watercolour work by artist Linda Beverley, and has been specially designed to aid mindfulness, containing everything you need to stitch this DIY craft project.
The artwork - based on thatched cottages in Shanklin, Isle of Wight is printed on the fabric, and stitches used to add texture and colour to certain areas. Although there is a pattern guide, you can stitch wherever your creativity and mind take you.
Long and short stitch is used, in a similar technique to thatching, to create the beautiful thatched roofs. A colour printed pattern guide is included, with a stitch booklet packed with everything you need to stitch this design; from instructions on mounting the fabric and your first stitch, to finishing the hoop with felt at the end.
