not received the order and no note in the letter box for redelivery although did get quick response once i asked the whereabouts of my order

Dear Rachael, Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to write to us. We were very sorry to hear that your order had not been received within the 24 hour time frame given from the date of dispatch – May 12th. Upon receiving your email, we responded quickly to notify you that the courier had attempted delivery on multiple occasions but unfortunately no-one was home. We apologise on behalf of the courier if no calling card was left. Your parcel was returned to sender on Friday 27th May and we will be re-dispatching to you, free of charge, on Tuesday 31st May. We therefore hope for a successful delivery on Wednesday 1st June. The Orchard aims to offer an excellent standard of customer service, ensuring that all deliveries are carried out within the time frame given to our customers. However, unfortunately at times when deliveries are unsuccessful, due to no one being at home and neighbours being unable to take delivery, delays such as yours can unfortunately occur. However, the sooner our customers notify us that a delivery has not been received, the quicker we can resolve the issue and book in a re-delivery on a date that is suitable for them. Bought this product as a birthday present for a friend, she thought it was lovely and was really pleased with it. It was sent very well packaged with no breakages or damage to the outer packaging.
