About me

Rachel Bronwen Illustration sells thoughtfully handmade illustrations, patterns and paper products to brighten your home and bring joy to your day!

I'm Rachel, a recently graduated Textile designer and owner of Textiles by Rachel, based in Cardiff, Wales. All of my work is hand painted by me in my home studio and is inspired by my love of nature, pattern, travel and painting. I use gouache paints to create my artwork, which gives bright, rich colours and allows me to create beautiful, unique pieces in my cheerful style!

My products and packaging are all plastic-free and eco-friendly, so you can shop knowing your handcrafted artwork is not only supporting a small business, but also completely sustainable too.

My products are perfect as a gift to brighten a loved ones day with a thoughtful card or a unique piece of artwork. Or, of course, as a treat for yourself!

Behind the scenes

Hand painted, hand crafted and unique, I strive to create original, artisan artwork that you won't find anywhere else!

My passion for illustration and painting grew during my Textile design degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University. It was during my degree that I set up my small business from my small bedroom of my student house, using the space I had to create and share my hand painted artwork.

Now, I run my small business from my home studio, and everything is thoughtfully painted by hand, printed and packaged by me. My design process always begins with an idea, which translates into hand sketched images before using a range of paints, brushes and materials to add colour and pattern in my unique painting style.
