Indie Cindy Hats

All of our hats are hand-crafted in Britain and appeal to women who appreciate good design and good music, and understand the special link between music, style and fashion. We’re called Indie Cindy Hats after the Pixies song, one of my favourite bands. It’s also a nod to the fact that all my hats are independently produced by hand in my studio in The Pennines.

I produce a range of occasion hats which are great for weddings and other special occasions. I can make you any of our designs in any colour at no extra charge - just drop us a message to organise it.

A whole host of things inspire my work - girls in bands, guys in bands, indie actresses, art, animals, Japanese culture, vintage fashions, people in the street... it depends on the collection really. Whatever the inspiration behind my hats, the women I have in mind when I make them stay the same, they’ve got to be cool, classic, quirky and have something original to say.

My hats are cruelty-free as this is an important issue to me; I spend a long time sourcing British, quality, cruelty free materials.
