We tell arty stories
An illustration-led lifestyle brand selling contemporary greeting cards, prints and gifts inspired by surrealist ideas + cultural trends.
Eat the Moon is a new creative venture launched by self-taught illustrator Fifi Khudhairi. Fifi describes her illustration style and brand as ‘neo-escapism’. She mixes topical trends and surrealist ideas to create playful artwork that offers a slice of escapism through humorous, nostalgic or fantastical themes.
“I’m a self-taught artist based in South East London. Eat the Moon explores concepts inspired by topical conversations, cult TV, film and art to create zine-style illustrations. I like to take an idea and play around with it to give it a new meaning or an alternative story. My greeting cards are more satirical and influenced by pop culture whilst my art prints are more fantastical, surrealist concepts which tend to take influence from my interpretation of creativity, feminism and my interest in occult and celestial aesthetics.”
