I founded Adventurous Ink following a deathbed promise to my Dad to rediscover the adventurous spirit that everyday life had somehow sedimented over.

Since then I've dedicated myself to living each day as if it were my last, and inspiring others to do the same by sending them a monthly book from the leading adventure, travel and nature writers.

Initially, this was a side project whilst I hung onto my day job, but I handed in my notice at the start of lockdown in 2019 once it became clear just how much my monthly selection meant to subscribers:

By the end of the year, we were getting out of print books re-pressed especially for us, and running out of space in our monthly online conversations with authors.

Adventurous Ink is more than just a book club, we're a community of inspired adventurers discovering new meaning and connection every month.
