Hi, I am Jianmei - the person who loves working with wood!

I've worked as a product designer for a number of years in the City before I relocated to Dorset. Living in the country has been so inspiring with the clear, fresh air, wildlife and many many walks in the woods...

The story behind my work comes when one of my dear friends had a new baby and I thought I should make something special for her little one to celebrate, so, I made a little wooden musical box. She cried when she opened the parcel and after that, other people have seen it so I've made some more and now there are 12 different designs!

Each design has a story for you to tell in your own imagination and they make for a lovely keepsake.
