About

Beautiful and unique artwork for children and adults alike. Transform your home into a place that sparks joyful memories and makes you smile!

Hey! I’m Liz, founder of Slow Sunday, and I make all of my artwork from my little home studio in Bristol.

Slow Sunday is inspired by the little moments in life that create big memories. Finding pockets of time to slow down within a busy lifestyle is an essential part of creating a more relaxed, inspiring and joyful life. Sunday’s are the day that I always try to relax, slow down and do the things that make me happy. My favourite way to slow down is going out in nature and taking the time to really stop and notice the world around me. It is during these slower moments, when my mind is free to wander, that I have my best ideas.

Combining skills and knowledge from over 12 years of working within the Art & Design industries, along with a BA in Illustration and an MA in Printmaking, I launched Slow Sunday in October 2020 to share my work with the world. I hope you will enjoy the work as much as I enjoy making it.

If you aren't tempted to keep it all to yourself, my artwork makes a fantastic gift for a new home, a new baby or even to remind a loved one of a joyful memory you shared together. I hope that you find something you love.

I am passionate about protecting the environment and use biodegradable and recyclable packaging as well as producing all of my prints on demand to reduce waste.

My Process

I am passionate about printmaking and traditional methods of working and consider myself a hands on maker. My ideas always begin as a sketch or papercut which are then developed further until I am ready to produce the final image. I use a unique papercut stencil and roller print technique to produce my beautifully textured and detailed artwork. This is then scanned and digitally modified before being printed onto beautiful artist quality archival paper.
