Our Story
Gift-worthy soy wax candles with a punny difference!
Scents of Humour® is the brainchild of Aaron & Jack. Friends since school, we've always joked about making products together. After a successful launch in 2020 Aaron took a step away from the business due to other work commitments. Leaving Jack and his wife Katie to run Scents of Humour.
Scents of Humour, born out of the chaos of Covid-19 when Jack was unemployed due to the pandemic. Having just become a father to little baby Henry, a plan was hatched to design and make candles in their Kitchen.
We have been busy (in between changing nappies and night feeds) experimenting with wax and fragrance formulas and with the branding and packaging design. Not to mention we've been hard at work writing the content for our candles to make you smile.

Our Products
Soy Wax Candles
All of our candles are made with natural, sustainably sourced soy wax and we use cotton wicks for a clean, even burn. The fragrances that we use are cruelty free and never tested on animals. We make all of our candles by hand.
We use soy wax because it's a natural, renewable resource. Soy wax is biodegradable and cleans up with plain old soap and water. Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax and because of this, soy candles will burn slower or longer than paraffin candles. Soy wax burns with zero petro soot, creating petro soot free candles.
