'Created for Children in Care, Purchased by People Who Care.' A Stronger 'Me' starts with 'This is My Life' A beautifully crafted keepsake journal for children

This is My Life keepsake journal was created as collaboration between Paige and her foster mother Barbara who later became her 'Special Guardian/ parent’. Before coming to live with Barbara when she was 8 years old, Paige had already experienced 5 foster families since aged 3 and struggled to understand what had led to her being fostered.

As a child the lack of information played a significant part in Paige's ability to build lasting relationships, as she always believed that she would eventually be rejected by those she loved. Paige now works as a life story practitioner for a local authority.

Barbara who is a mother, grandmother, foster carer and also a qualified children's social worker believes that supporting children and young people to be their best self requires them to understand as much as possible about their early experiences.  Hence recognising Paige’s experiences and creative talents, and using Barbara’s professional expertise the seed for the collaboration began.
