How It All Began

I've always been passionate about design, craft, nature, and sustainability. Millbee combines all my passions. For me, it's not just about creating products. I am a mother with two young kids and I want to create something meaningful and to consider the impact this has on our kid's future. When I started making and using beeswax food wraps it felt good to be doing something positive for the environment. It made me more aware of how much plastic we actually use and how we can change this. Being sustainable is a journey and I think if we all make one little change it's a start in the right direction. I'm also a beginner beekeeper. I'm surrounded by a great community of Beekeepers in the Midlands of Ireland where I also keep bees. I love good food and cooking. I like to batch cook and store my meals and this was another great reason to make beeswax food wraps.
