Jupiter's Grace

Treasures inspired from times long ago.

I live with my family in Southern Scotland and all my work is made in my tiny studio on wheels.

Some of the things that inspire and excite me: the area I live in ~ it's thick with history, spirituality and folklore ~ ancient stone circles, clootie trees (wishing trees) and fairy hills. The feelings of reverence and sacredness in this valley are all around. Inspiration also comes via objects infused with spirit and treasures from the past ~ unearthed, imperfect and marked by history. My aim is to transmute these magical qualities into my work so others can enjoy and benefit from them.

I have a BA (Hons) in Design Practice and started making jewellery from home when I became a mother in 2005. My creative style is playful and intuitive. I first sculpt in wax and then cast the pieces, using lost wax technique to transform them to gold and silver heirlooms for the future.

I hope you'll not only find my work fun to wear, but will treasure it for many years to come.
