Hello my name is Harky, short for Harkiran. I am a full-time graphic designer but in my personal time I create hand lettered artwork. My art grew from a lot of doodling when I use to work in a call centre where I would spend my time drawing in between calls. Over the past year I started to explore lettering because of a love of quotes and words. I wanted to create a style that represented who I am but also something people could connect with. Through my art I am able to share my feelings, my love of colour and my love for words.

In 2015 I began a project called 'I am thankful for...' where each day for a year I illustrated through words what I was thankful for. The reason for this project was to develop my art but also to be more thankful for this great life I do have. Through this I inspired many people around the world and the work you now see was born from this simple project of gratitude.
