Elsie is an artist. She has major representations in UK galleries and has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Elsie is an expert painter in miniature with astonishing levels of detail who has learned much of her trade as a gilder and icon writer. The paintings are unique works from a series of bird paintings that were originally entitled; “If you were a bird, what would you be?”

The bird paintings came from a fascination with nature and the feeling that little birds expressed very distinct characters. Those unique characteristics became individualised portraits of Elsie’s friends and family.

The paintings were loved by all and the idea was born.
