The Statement Earring Company - Get your sass on!

Hello! I'm Sophie Mcgown - The sass boss. During lockdown in 2020 I had the time to be creative and started making earrings for friends to bring a little joy and sass to endless zooms, homeschooling and lockdown life.

EARSASS was born from my love and obsession with colour!

Each design is named after strong influential women in my life, who have gone through tough times but found fashion and jewellery have helped to bring hits of joy into their lives.

I've redesigned the statement earring to focus on lightweight creations that feel comfortable all day, without the typical earlobe pain from a big earring. My ethos of “Get Your Sass On” is to encourage you to be proud of your sassiness, whatever shape, size, gender, and form, both physically and mentally.

Fashion Jeweller of the year 2023

EARSASS was the proud winner of the Fashion Jeweller of the Year 2023 by the Scottish Fashion Association back in February. The Scottish Fashion Association educates, mentors and provides support to talent in Scotland to accelerate circular business models, sustainable supply chains, and catalyses an active network of knowledge exchange to encourage recycling, garment care, and end-of-garment use.
